RENAULT has created "http://www.sustainable-mobility.org" (© RENAULT 2009), (hereinafter "the Website") for the personal information of its users and in order to contribute to the public debate on sustainable mobility.

The current Website has no commercial aim.

Your use of the Website is subject to compliance with the General Terms and Conditions of access and use detailed below ("General Terms and Conditions") and with all applicable legislation. When you access, navigate and use the Website, you fully accept that these General Terms and Conditions are to the exclusion of any other agreement made between you and RENAULT or members of its commercial network.

Intellectual Property Rights:

Authorship rights and/or Drawing and model rights:
The current Website constitutes a work whose author is RENAULT according to articles L.111.1 and so forth of the Intellectual Property Code. The design and development of the said Website were undertaken by the company Megalo(s).

Photographs, articles, slogans, drawings, images, animated sequences with or without sound and all other material on the Website are the property of RENAULT or of a third-party that has authorised usage to RENAULT.

Vehicle models represented on the Website are protected under rights of authorship and by articles L.511.1 and so forth of the Intellectual Property Code pertaining to the protection of registered models.

Reproduction, on paper or by electronic medium, of the Website and of works and vehicle models from the said Website is authorised on the condition that it is strictly reserved for private use and excludes any use for promotional and/or commercial purposes and/or that it conforms to the provisions of article L122-5 of the Intellectual Property Code.

With the exception of the provisions above, all reproduction, representation, use or amendment, by any procedure or through any medium whatsoever, of all or of part of the Website, of all or of part of the different works and vehicle models that constitute the Website, without prior authorisation from RENAULT, is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement of copyright punishable by 3 years of prison and a €300,000 fine.

Trademark Rights:

The RENAULT name, the RENAULT (diamond) and sustainable-mobility.org logos, the name of the vehicles of the RENAULT range and its associated products and services are trademarks registered by RENAULT.

Other trademarks are also mentioned; these are, in principle, identified by capital letters. They are used by RENAULT either with the authorisation of their owner, or by simple indication of the products or services offered by RENAULT or their respective owners. The mention of these trademarks is made only with the intention of participating in the public debate on sustainable mobility and of keeping web users informed in good faith, with no defamation intended.

The reproduction, imitation, use or display of these trademarks without prior authorisation from RENAULT is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement of copyright punishable by 4 years of prison and a €400,000 fine.

The data that we may collect are essential in order to answer your information requests and to send you press releases and event alerts. These data are intended solely for RENAULT and its subsidiaries for the purpose of surveys, analysis and corporate communication. Monitoring of sustainable-mobility.org:

Sustainable-mobility.org reserves the right to refuse to publish or delete without notice any message, content or document that does not conform to the current conditions of use.

The contributions posted on the Website must be related to environmental and sustainable development themes, and will be subject to prior moderation: publication will only take place when contributions have been read by the sustainable-mobility.org teams. Links suggested by web users are also checked before publication.

Sustainable-mobility.org reserves the right to delete the user name of a contributor if necessary, to delete all or part of a contribution, and to temporarily or permanently ban a contributor if abuse of the current conditions persists.

The web user is advised that Sustainable-mobility.org will provide all information allowing or facilitating the identification of a web user having been found guilty of a breach of the law or of an infringement of a third party’s rights, if requested by a legitimate authority (court of law, administrative authority, police), such as IP address and time of connection if it still possesses this information.

Any misuse by a web user leading to legal action against the Sustainable-mobility.org Website will result in RENAULT requesting the involvement of the said web user in the legal process.

In order to have his/her contribution published on Sustainable-mobility.org, the web user must complete certain obligatory fields: his/her user name and the content of the message.

Only the user name and the text of the contribution will appear online. In order to remain anonymous, the web user is advised to use a user name that neither mentions nor evokes his/her name or contact details.

The current General Terms and Conditions are subject to French interior law. The language of the General Terms and Conditions is French. In case of dispute, only French courts are considered competent.

RENAULT reserves the right to modify and update access to the Website as well as the General Terms and Conditions at any time. The user is bound by these variations and must therefore refer to this section regularly to check the latest General Terms and Conditions.
